“How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.”

— Annie Dillard

About Me

Being a human can be a lonely, confusing, and stressful experience. Although our modern world is a wondrous place, it can also feel overwhelming and isolating. And yet, maybe some part of you knows there is joy and connection to be had — so how do you access it?

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as an organic farmer; without knowing why, I sensed that I needed to do work that was close to the ground — to be near things that felt fundamental and foundational to life.

I view therapy in much the same way: as a space to work with what is deep and foundational in you. I seek to welcome you as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms — to wonder and to explore, with an appreciation for the many different pathways to healing.

I endeavor to approach this work with curiosity: about you, your experience, and the full human being that you are. My goal is not to provide you with all the answers — instead, I’d like to embark on a relational journey with you, inviting us both to sit with what is present, whether that be uncomfortable, or wonderful, or somewhere in between.

It is my belief that the body you inhabit is an intelligent system; it is not broken. It is conveying messages that can be accessed and listened to, perhaps made sense of — if we can allow the time and the space needed for it to unfold.

I believe that therapy, at its best and most meaningful, is a place that allows for uncertainty. Our work together can provide you with the room and the space to discover, to feel the edges of what is possible within yourself — and to be deeply and meaningfully supported while you do this.

You are not alone on this journey.

  • I’m an eclectic, holistic therapist. I am always learning, and I pull from many different theories and approaches. I consider myself a relational therapist who is interested in attachment, emotional focusing, grief and trauma work, psychodynamic theory, and nervous system / somatic practices. I’m grounded in existentialism, with a lens toward meaning-making.

  • I see adult clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, who are working through trauma, or who are struggling to find meaning in their lives. Many of my clients are seeking out a space to put words to the many thoughts and feelings inside them that often go unsaid. Some of my clients have been diagnosed with ADHD, and others consider themselves neurodivergent. If you have any questions about whether or not you think we would be a good therapeutic fit, please find my contact information in the “Contact” section of this page.

  • $145 for individual sessions (60 minutes). Currently offering a sliding scale. Can also provide a superbill for potential insurance reimbursement out of network.
